“Our mission: Supporting the academic success of young people no matter what their academic level”.
Nomad Education is a student support application whose content is created by teachers. What is its mission?
Caroline Maitrot: “Nomad Education’s mission is to help students succeed in their studies via its mobile application “Brevet-Bac-Sup”, which is accessible to all and available in offline mode. The application allows users to review more than 400 diplomas, including more than 200 in higher education: almost all BTS and IUT/BUT, 24 bachelor’s degrees, about 15 professional bachelor’s degrees, and all preparatory courses…
The idea is to offer young people, whatever their academic or social level, the possibility to study anywhere and at any time, in complete autonomy. Our one million members testify every day that our application helps them in their studies (more than 100,000 reviews on the stores with an average of 4.7/5) and that is our greatest pride!
In addition, adaptive learning is coming soon into the app and will aim to offer a personalized learning path so that everyone can progress at their own pace and according to their level without ever being in a situation of failure.”
What are the most popular features for students?
Caroline M.: “All the content is offered in the form of quizzes, mini-courses and podcasts. These are very synthetic contents appreciated by students who can self-evaluate, review a notion quickly, start a quiz, leave, come back… These formats meet the expectations and lifestyles of today’s youth.
In addition, our solution integrates a coaching program on which we have very good feedbacks. This program is inspired by sports apps in order to help the user get motivated and truly engaged in their revisions.”
What are the challenges for Nomad Education in 2021?
Caroline M.: “Among our challenges this year, I will mention two:
- to make ourselves better known among students so that our solution benefits as many people as possible. We have the richest content on cell phones dedicated to higher education.
- to develop strongly in French-speaking countries, including Africa, with a target audience multiplied by three.
